Our experience includes: coordinating AIG’s (and member companies) defense against all tobacco-related claims in the United States and Canada, including a class action that legal commentators called “the biggest case in the history of Canadian jurisprudence” with estimated liability at over 200 billion dollars; representing a pension fund in a shareholder derivative action against the Board of Directors of FedEx Corp. alleging breach of fiduciary duties; representing a class of Honda vehicle owners alleging breach of warranty; and analyzing policy exposure in complex proceedings like the Enron Bankruptcy, WR Grace, and the World Trade Center Litigation.

Firm principals Marcus Monteiro and Michael Fishman have collectively tried over 50 cases to conclusion in both State and Federal Courts, and both have been recognized by their peers as “Super Lawyers” in the NYC metro area every year since 2012.  Our cases have been featured in newspapers like the N.Y. Post and Japan Times; reported in legal periodicals like the Class Action Reporter, Law360 and Leagle.com; and one was even the subject of a Newsday documentary.
